North and South Korea are very alike, but very different in many ways. They are both much alike culturally but very different in development. South Korea is much wealthier and much more developed than North Korea. North Korea is a small, impoverished and isolated country; South Korea is wealthy and backed by the world's number one superpower. North Korea is much larger geologically, but much small development wise; it also has a much smaller population than South Korea. South Korea is a free country with a democratically elected government. They have freedom of speech and of the press. they have a great economy and the citizens are free to travel outside their own country. They are allowed to have telephones and internet. They have plenty of food. North Korea is a communist dictatorship. The people are not allowed to have free elections. The economy is awful, they do not produce enough food and many people starve. They have no personal freedoms and cannot travel outside their own country. Telephones and internet ate extremely limited. The people are not allowed contact or news from the outside world.
